Original initiative from the city of Montpellier, in the south-east of France. Less than 130 days before the opening of the Paris 2024 Games, around a hundred students from four CM2 classes labeled “Generation 2024” were selected to discover the Olympic world in its capital, Lausanne. A first stay of a short week ends this Friday March 22. The second will follow next week. In Lausanne, young Montpellier residents visited the Olympic Museum, where they were able to meet Thomas Bach, the president of the IOC, the day after the meeting of the executive board (photo above). Objective of the stay: promotion of Olympic values ​​and the discovery of sporting activities.
