Two athletes join the board of directors

The International Mixed Martial Arts Federation (IMMAF) announces the arrival of two new members to its board of directors, as athlete representatives. They both carry a lot of weight in terms of titles and medals. Brazilian Amanda Ribas won gold in her first appearance at the amateur MMA world championships, in Las Vegas in 2014. She has since joined the professional ranks, becoming the first IMMAF champion to enter the elite . She is currently ranked in the UFC's top 10 in the world in two weight classes. Irman Smajic, for his part, a veteran in the heavyweight category, was world champion in 2016 and 2017, before also turning professional. The Swede has been president of the IMMAF Athletes' Commission since 2020.
