Valencia inherits the European Indoor Championships

And two. After a first edition in 1998, Valencia will once again organize the European indoor athletics championships in 2027. Meeting last weekend in Rome, the Council of the European Athletics Association (European Athletics) awarded the organization to the Spanish city. As with the first edition, and for the World Indoor Championships in 2008, the competitions will take place at the Luis Puig Velodrome, one of the main indoor athletics facilities in Spain. The next edition of the European Indoor Championships, an event held every two years, is scheduled to be held in 2025 in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands.
