The 2024 World Cup knows its host cities

Less than six months before the event, FIFA has lifted a new corner of the veil on the next edition of the Futsal World Cup, scheduled from September 14 to October 6, 2024 in Uzbekistan. The body announced the names of the three host cities of its first official competition organized in Central Asia. These will include Tashkent, the capital, Bukhara, the former commercial hub of the Silk Road, and Andijan, a city in the Ferghana Valley. The 2024 Futsal World Cup will bring together 24 teams, including Portugal, defending champion, Brazil, five-time winner of the event, but also new entrants such as France and New Zealand. The draw will take place on May 26 in Samarkand.
