The COJO received the keys to the media village

Paris 2024

A new box was ticked on the OCOG Paris 2024 roadmap, Monday March 25, with the handover by SOLIDEO – the Olympic works delivery company – of the keys to the media cluster. 123 days before the opening of the Games, the organizing committee took possession of a vast 70-hectare complex including the media village in the town of Dugny, in Seine-Saint-Denis, the sports and school park of Bourget, where the climbing events will be held, and a footbridge over the A1 motorway. In the coming weeks, the COJO will install furniture and equipment for the 1.582 future tenants of a media village with smaller dimensions than in the initial plans, mainly occupied by audiovisual technicians. The organizers will also set up the temporary climbing competition site. After the Paralympic Games, the keys to the village will be returned to SOLIDEO to complete the final works, before delivery to the town of Dugny at the start of 2025 of the new district left as a legacy in the department. At Le Bourget, four hectares of park will be developed following the Games.
