OCOG headquarters to host media at the Paralympic Games

Paris 2024

Their logo is identical, but the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games will not have the same Main Media Center (MPC). Installed in Paris for the Olympic event, at the Palais des Congrès at Porte Maillot, it will be moved to Seine-Saint-Denis for the Paralympics. It was expected. But the COJO board of directors, meeting on Tuesday March 26, took the decision to change its location. Initially housed in temporary infrastructure at the Olympic Aquatic Center in Saint-Denis, it remains in the same town, but moves to the headquarters of Paris 2024, the Pulse building (photo above). Reason given: cost reduction. In the initial plan, the Paralympic Games MPC would have required “ additional work to arrange the space ». An expense that will no longer be necessary in the Pulse building. The OCOG headquarters, served by public transport, will also host the Main Operations Center (MOC) for the duration of the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
