Sylvie Le Maux joins the CNOSF Executive Office, Nathalie Péchalat is appointed to the Expanded Executive Office

Communiqué

Following the General Assembly of September 2023 having confirmed the election of David Lappartient as President of the French National Olympic and Sports Committee and completing the Board of Directors with the election of Lise Legrand, the Board of Directors has filled today, on the proposal of the President, the vacancy of two positions within the Executive Bureau and the extended Executive Bureau of the CNOSF.
The following were thus designated until the end of this mandate:
  • Sylvie Le Maux, to join the Executive Office. She will serve as Vice-President in charge of e-sport.
  • Nathalie Péchalat, to join the extended Executive Board, in her capacity as Deputy President of Club France.
David Lappartient, President of the CNOSF:
“Beyond the statutory requirements, it seemed important to me to complete our team around two major issues: e-sport and Club France. Concerning the first, we all know its exceptional dynamics as well as the close links it maintains with sport – and now Olympism, since the announcement by Thomas Bach of advanced reflections around the creation of Olympic Games of e -sport. I know that Sylvie is the right person to allow the CNOSF to explore this path even further. As for Club France, as we enter the home stretch that separates us from the Games, it was completely obvious that Nathalie, in her capacity as Deputy President in charge of this strategic file for the CNOSF, fully integrates the Extended Executive Bureau – of which she was already a regular guest. »
