Africa must “assert itself as a true force in world sport” by 2028

The secretaries general of the African NOCs met at the end of September in Maputo for the seminar organized by ANOCAThe objective: to take stock of the past cycle and define the next directions. ANOCA welcomed the fact that 90% of the objectives of the 2021-2025 strategic plan had been achieved. A number of recommendations were also made to the NOCs: develop strategic plans supplemented by monitoring and evaluation tools ; sign the United Nations Convention on Climate Change; invest in learning how to use artificial intelligence to improve efficiency and athlete support mechanisms; or to nominate a candidate for the AI ​​certification program offered by Zedny in collaboration with ANOCA.
