The House of Skating is open! The ISU has invited representatives from the IOC, International Federations and the Canton of Vaud to the inauguration of its “Home of Skating” in Lausanne. " Today marks a new milestone in our 133-year history, said ISU President Jae Youl Kim at the ceremony. This new headquarters reflects both our long-term commitment to the Olympic Capital and the strategic transformation we are pursuing through ISU Vision 2030. We have already made great progress, and with our capabilities, energy, and a clear plan, we are ready to move forward. Our modernization process is well underway and, from this seat, we will continue to reshape the future of skating for generations to come. »

ISU Director General Colin Smith expressed similar enthusiasm: “ This workspace was truly designed as a home for our members, our partners and especially our skating family. The presence of skaters is felt everywhere : on our screens, on our walls, and in the inspiration their exploits bring us every day. In creating this environment, our goal was that staff feel fully immersed in the sports that he tirelessly strives to promote, protect and develop. »

IOC Director General Christophe De Kepper praised the ISU's commitment to " good governance » with these « efficient work premises (…) made available to athletes and officials ". From the entrance, the ISU Hall of Fame honors legendary skaters in all disciplines. The IF highlights the adaptability of spaces, who are " which can evolve according to the future needs of the organization while minimizing environmental impact through energy-efficient systems and the use of sustainable materials ».
