This headquarters, which should be completed by mid-2028, concretizes the solid partnership established between Budapest and aquatic sports leaders in recent years: Since 2006, the city has hosted three European Championships, the World Championships in 2022 and the Short Course World Championships in 2024. It has been chosen again as host of the World Championships in 2027.
