“Around Christmas 2023, while I was still working on the official posters for Paris 2024, I unintentionally inverted the colors of the design, creating a nighttime atmosphere with neon hues. Inspired by this false manipulation, I began creating a new version of the poster, modifying each color one by one, thus revealing new secrets of design and paying homage to the beauty of Parisian nights. Ugo Gattoni, designer of the official Paris 2024 posters
“Ugo proposed this alternative version of the official Paris 2024 posters and I was immediately hooked. I like the idea of showing the world the energy that Paris gives off at night which is completely different from Paris during the day. This variation of the official posters is an ode to celebration, freedom, living together. » Joachim Roncin, Design Director of Paris 2024
An augmented reality experience
All people who own official posters in the daytime version will also be able to benefit from this new edition. For the first time, Paris 2024 and the International Olympic Committee are also launching a unique augmented reality experience of official posters, on the official IOC @Olympics application. This technology allows you to discover in detail and in augmented reality the subtleties of this remarkable work designed by Ugo Gattoni.
Thanks to a QR code associated with the Official Posters marketed since March 2024, they will come to life from July 25 in a nighttime version of Paris, visually retracing all the sports and all the sites of the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris and in France. This interactive experience immerses the user in the richness and details of this work.
