Qatar 2022

Qatar 2022

Let's go. FIFA and the organizing committee officially launched the sale of tickets for the 19 Football World Cup in Qatar on Wednesday January 13 at 2022 p.m. Doha time. This first phase of ticketing will last until February 8 at the same time. Four categories of tickets are available: individual match tickets (valid for a specific match and available for the entire competition, from the opening match to the final), team-specific ticket series (for the groups only), series of tickets for four stadiums (four matches in four different stadiums, four days in a row), and finally accessibility tickets (for supporters with disabilities or reduced mobility). A second possibility of purchasing tickets for this first stage of ticketing will be offered before the draw for the 2022 World Cup, scheduled for April 1. Its terms and conditions will operate on a “first come, first served” basis. For the first phase, on the other hand, the date of submission of the form is of no importance, since all tickets put on sale will be allocated at the end of the mentioned period. In the event that requests exceed the number of tickets available for the planned contingents (national or international), a draw will be carried out to allocate places. Clarification: only residents of the host country will be able to benefit from category 4, the most accessible of the offers, with places at only 40 rials, or around 10 euros. Overall, ticket prices are on the rise compared to the 2018 World Cup in Russia, particularly for the second round of the competition, with the knockout matches. For the final, scheduled for December 18 at the new Lusail stadium, the most expensive seats cost 5.850 rials (1.415 euros), up almost 50% compared to the 2018 edition. Several other sales phases will take place after the final draw.
