The information is revealed by Le Parisien : a documentary is currently in preparation behind the scenes of the preparations for the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Its production has been entrusted to the Frenchman Manuel Herrero, son of the former rugby player and coach Daniel Herrero. Filming began in December 2022. It focuses in particular on three key players of the evening: the director Thomas Jolly, the executive director of the brand, events and ceremonies of the COJO Therry Reboul, and the president of Paris 2024 , Tony Estanguet. The document was commissioned by OBS, the IOC subsidiary responsible for producing Games images. It will be offered in two versions: a first split into two 45-minute episodes, ready a few days before the opening, and a second of 90 minutes, more official, completed after the evening of July 26.
