The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) is organizing, from June 18 to 28, 2013, the first edition of the "Tour de la DRC, Tour de l'unité", a 900 km stage cycling race linking the provinces of Bas-Congo, from Kinshasa and Bandundu. To date, 48 Congolese runners and 54 from nine African countries (Congo, Gabon, Togo, Burkina Faso, Benin, Angola, Cameroon, Rwanda, Zambia) have already registered.
