The IOC has revealed the results of its survey on the public impact of the 2012 Olympic Games.
In total, 36,000 people aged 8 to 65, from 16 different countries, participated in the survey conducted by the Committee.
The survey results confirm the extraordinary popularity of gymnastics. According to the data, 99% of tickets for artistic gymnastics were sold before the games. Measured on a scale of 1 to 10, gymnastics received a score of 7.14.
Spectators particularly noted the quality of the sport and the exercises, as well as the atmosphere at the Olympic sites and the welcome of the volunteers.
