Russian authorities have announced that athletes and officials traveling to Moscow next August for the world athletics championships will not need visas to enter the country. A measure which could also be extended to foreign spectators with tickets for the events. Very exceptional, this decision had already been taken for the final of the Football Champions League in 2008. And it could be renewed during the Football World Cup in 2018.
