L’édition 2020 du sommet « Smart Cities & Sport » confirmée les 27 et 28 octobre 2020 et gratuit pour tous les représentants des villes

Lausanne, Switzerland – October 7th, 2020 – The 7th edition of the Smart Cities and Sport Summit is confirmed and will take place virtually on October 27-28, 2020. Attendance to the Summit will be completely free for all city entities.

This year’s Smart Cities & Summit will focus on how smart and forward-thinking cities can leverage inclusive sport, physical activity and sporting events to advance our common roadmap for transforming our communities and contributing to the UN 2030 Agenda. Cities, international organisations and international sports federations from around the world will share their inspiring initiatives and best practices for the achievement of in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

To ensure that everyone, everywhere in the world is able to attend, the Summit will be exclusively virtual. All sessions will be streamed via a dedicated online platform, available live and in replay, and forums will be open for attendees to exchange questions and share input. The schedule caters to all time zones, with sessions held at the following times: 9:00-11:00 CET, 13:00-15:00 CET and 18:00-20:00 CET.

This new virtual format will also bring its share of exciting new features. The Smart Cities & Sport Marketplace will, for the first time, be arranged as an online forum which will open one week prior to the Summit and will be accessible for the duration of the event. This new solution will enable cities and international federations to get in touch and to arrange meetings at their convenience in order to share their ambitions regarding the hosting of future events.
