The International Athletics Federation (World Athletics) is not only counting the days before the opening of the Paris 2024 Games. More unexpected, but revealing, it is also counting down the time before the broadcast by Netflix of its documentary series dedicated to the best sprinters of the world. Announced for a worldwide release on July 2, “SPRINT” was previewed Friday, June 7 at the Nasdaq Building in New York. An exclusive screening, reduced to only the first and fifth episodes, attended by some of the athletes present in the series, including the American Noah Lyles, reigning world champion in the 100 and 200 m. Less than a month before its release, the official trailer was posted online at the beginning of last week. It was also projected on giant screens in Times Square (photo above), before the premiere in New York.
