Candidate once again for entry into the Games program, as an additional sport in Paris in 2024, squash is gradually coming into compliance with the parity requirement of the Olympic movement. The Professional Players Association (PSA) announces in a press release a very clear reduction in the gap between men and women in the rankings of the prize money for the 2017-2018 season. On the Women's World Tour, the amount of prize money distributed reached $2,599 million, up 31% compared to the previous season. By comparison, it represents $3,820 million on the men's circuit. Overall, the World Tour saw its prize money increase by 11% over the past season. Another trend: a reinforced presence of the professional circuit on the 5 continents. The World Squash Tour visited 47 countries, with unique stops in Bermuda, Bolivia, Brazil, the British Virgin Islands, Kuwait, Nigeria, Romania and Saudi Arabia.
