In the midst of her campaign to become president of the CNOSF, Amélie Oudéa-Castéra shared on LinkedIn the results of a questionnaire that she sent to the national sports federations. 55 of them responded about their expectations of the NOC. "Six are seen as priorities by the federations: the revaluation of volunteering, the search for funding, monitoring and legal and regulatory advice, the development of strong and impactful arguments on the societal contribution of sport, the quality of representation vis-à-vis the State, the ANS or communities and finally the deployment of ethics support systems », lists the candidate.
Among the issues cited by the federations, the development of practice comes first. "Then follow four issues of close importance: the affirmation of the societal impact of sport and federations ; their territorial structure and their good internal governance; the reputation and attractiveness of their discipline(s); finally, the fight against violence, harassment, discrimination or attacks on secularism.
The former Minister of Sports thus promises "innovative proposals" on support for innovation, administrative simplification or even training "to streamline our collaboration methods and provide more added value, particularly for smaller federations ». On other topics, such as shared digital tools, group purchasing systems or support for the organization of events, the candidate and her team believe that it will be more relevant to adopt “more segmented approaches, with closer cooperation and voluntary pilot groups”.
