The Spanish club has overtaken Manchester United, estimated at 3,165 billion dollars and which had been at the top since the first edition of this ranking in 2004. FC Barcelona is third at 2,6 billion and Arsenal fourth at 1,326 billion. The first French club in this ranking is Lyon, fifteenth with an estimated value of 368 million dollars and the first non-European is the Brazilian Corinthians, sixteenth at 358 million. According to Forbes, the player who earned the most money in 2012 is the Englishman from PSG David Beckham with 50,6 million dollars in income, ahead of the Portuguese from Real Madrid Cristiano Ronaldo (43,5 million) and the Argentinian from Barcelona Lionel Messi (40,3 million).
