The International Ski Federation (FIS) will soon be a little more French-speaking. Jean-Philippe Vulliet, former boss of the French women's alpine ski team, and Emmanuel Couder, director of the Val-d'Isère sports club, will join the technical team in spring 2014, announced Wednesday the FIS. They will join the technical team led by Markus Waldner (men) and Atle Skaardal (women), in charge of the World Cup events, the Worlds and the Olympic Games. Jean-Philippe Vuillet, 54, will be responsible for the women's speed events. Emmanuel Couder, 42, will be in charge of the men's technical events at the World Cup.
