The sports press is mobilizing. At the initiative of AIPS Europe, a petition will be filed on October 7, 2014 before the European Parliament, in order to alert the authorities of the increasing difficulty encountered by journalists in exercising their profession. The representatives of the AIPS denounce in particular the virtual impossibility of obtaining accreditation for the English Premier League, the attempt by the UCI to impose a right of access to the mixed zone of the Road Cycling Worlds in Florence, and finally, the numerous refusals faced by non-rights-holding media to work on numerous international events.
