Three series produced with Netflix

IOC

The IOC does business with Netflix. The Olympic body announces the production of three new documentary series on sport, broadcast on the occasion of the Paris 2024 Games. They were produced in collaboration with the American streaming giant. The first one, SIMONE BILES: RISING, follows the most successful gymnast in history throughout her journey after the Tokyo 2020 Games. The first two episodes will air in July. The second, Sprint, is interested, as its name suggests, in the fastest athletes on the planet, including the Americans Sha'Carri Richardson and Noah Lyles, and the Jamaican Shericka Jackson. Season 2 will be broadcast after the Paris 2024 Games. Finally, Olympic Men's Basketball offers a world tour of basketball prospects. It is available in six episodes. The three productions benefit from the respective support of the International Gymnastics Federation (FIG), FIBA and World Athletics. The IOC and Netflix had already collaborated on a feature film, The Redeem Team, dedicated to the United States basketball team's journey to the 2008 Beijing Games.
