Three cities have submitted a bid to host the 2021 World Games: Birmingham in the United States, Ufa in Russia, and Lima, the capital of Peru. The city chosen for the 11th edition of this multisport competition will be announced at the beginning of 2015. The next edition of the World Games, in 2017, is due to take place in Wroclaw, Poland.
