The capital of Peru is taking a certain place on the sporting world map. Designated to organize the IOC session in July 2017, during which the host city of the Summer Games in 2024 will be elected, Lima was entrusted by SportAccord with hosting the World Combat Sports Games. The event is expected to take place at the end of February or beginning of March 2018. The competitions will take place on five sites, all already built, grouped within the same complex. A system which will be supplemented by 21 training grounds.
