The meeting at the IOC is scheduled to take place on February 15, 2018. South Korean Sports Minister Do Jong-hwan and his North Korean counterpart Kim Il-guk will lead the two delegations. They will be accompanied by officials from their national Olympic committee. They will meet IOC President Thomas Bach. Before that, the two Koreas wish to convey to the IOC, “ in the near future ", a letter of intent to jointly host the Summer Games in 2032. During the same meeting last Friday in Kaesong, the two Koreas also discussed organizing a joint parade at the ceremony opening of the Olympic Games, then Paralympic Games, Tokyo 2020.
