Heading to Istanbul! SportAccord convention will take place this year in the Turkish city, from 9 to 12 in June. Its theme: shaping the future of sport in a changing world.All stakeholders in the sports industry – companies, international federations, event organizers, international associations, etc. – are expected at the Istanbul Congress Center to discuss the challenges and solutions to be implemented. "This year's edition is particularly important because it comes at a crucial moment of transition within the Olympic movement and in a context of significant geopolitical developments impacting the global sports industry", the organization emphasizes. SportAccord will thus host official meetings of international federations, networking events, an exhibition space or even conferences. Turkey had already organized the convention in 2014, in Belek. The 2024 edition took place in Birmingham, in the presence of more than 1.700 people from 65 countries.
