
Operation Transparency. The Russian Anti-Doping Agency (RUSADA) is outlining a report for the year 2024. It has listed 102 alleged anti-doping rule violations over the twelve months, i.e. less than in 2023 (150 cases) and that in 2022 (135 cases), reports the TASS agency. In search of redemption on the international scene, RUSADA has had analyzed more than 12.000 samples from laboratories validated by the AMA between January 2023 and February 2024. The best, it seems, which must be qualified. Russian athletes' location flaws are still extremely high : between January and October 2024, no fewer than 248 cases were recorded. In March 2024, AMA President Witold Banka himself said "deeply skeptical" as for the fight against doping in Russia. The Russian authorities are nevertheless working hard to try to restore their image and move towards reintegration with reluctant federations.
