Great performance for the phryges, these red hats mounted on legs chosen by the Paris 2024 COJO as official mascots of the Olympic and Paralympic Games. They were a real commercial success, with around 560.000 copies sold in Carrefour stores, premium partner of the organizing committee. The CEO of the French group, Alexandre Bompard, explained this when taking stock of the partnership. In total, nearly 4,3 million Paris 2024 official products were sold in the Carrefour store network, including 560.000 mascots. "We had an increase in activity and customers when the Games started. The figures for businesses, particularly in the Olympic zones, increased by 25%, he detailed. The three stores opened in the press centre and in the athletes' village also worked very well." Shops in train stations and airports have also been very successful, as have those located near Olympic and Paralympic venues. Other very popular official products include tote bags, water bottles and school items (ruler, correction tape and 4-colour pen).
