Olympic fever is not limited to competition sites alone. The OCOG announces that the celebration sites set up in the French capital are also experiencing record attendance. Four days after the start of the Games, they have already welcomed more than a million visitors. The Parc des Champions (photo above), installed at the Trocadéro to celebrate the medalists, recorded the presence of 26 people for its first opening day. In La Villette, in the north-east of the capital, the Parc des Nations is also very successful. Since its opening on July 000, the fifteen clubs and hospitality houses of the national Olympic committees (France, India, South Africa, Brazil, Canada, Netherlands, Serbia, etc.) have received visits from more than 27 people.
