The look of the Games and the pictograms revealed

Milan-Cortina 2026

The organisers of the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games ticked a new box on their schedule on Thursday 7 November. They unveiled the look of the Games and the pictograms of the sports disciplines. According to the official version, the visual identity of the Olympic and Paralympic event (pictured above) is inspired by the concept of " human gesture », a theme that is supposed to reflect the genius, movement and artistic talent of Italy. No less. For this, Milan-Cortina 2026 has imagined “Vibes” which form a design composed of four elements: signs that reproduce the human gesture; curved shapes that evoke movement; straight lines that intersect to give a dynamic momentum; and finally a blur effect in shades of white to recall snow and winter. Also unveiled on Thursday, November 7, the 16 Olympic pictograms and six Paralympic pictograms (photo below) were designed in collaboration with the international winter sports federations. They embody " the movement and elegance of athletes".
