The Grand Prix doubly in France

Skating

Meeting at the end of last week, the Council of the International Skating Union (ISU) proceeded to allocate a handful of competitions on the European and world calendar for the coming seasons. For the 2024/2025 financial year, the Figure Skating Grand Prix will have six stages plus a final. It will begin in the United States (Skate America) in mid-October, ending at the beginning of December with the final in Orléans, France. In the meantime, the circuit will have stopped in Canada, France, Japan, China and a country yet to be determined. Note that the 2024/2025 Grand Prix only stops in Europe, to date, in French ice rinks. Another decision: the ISU Council awarded Lausanne the European Figure Skating Championships in 2027. The Olympic capital will organize the event from January 25 to 31.
