Good LFP accounts

Football

Football is not in crisis. In France, at least. The Professional Football League (LFP) recorded a positive net result of 900.000 euros for the 2012-2013 financial year, it announced at the end of its general assembly. This positive net result is a very slight increase compared to the previous season (€0,8 million). The League's turnover amounted to €723,2 million, down compared to the previous year (€786 million). This is the first year of application of the audiovisual contracts signed for four years with Canal+, beIN Sport, Orange and Eurosport for French rights, and the contract signed for 6 years with Al Jazeera for international rights, up by 31% to €30,2 million.
