A few weeks before the announcement of a first list, squash is further intensifying its efforts to be chosen as an additional sport at the Paris 2024 Games. Its international federation (WSF) has joined forces with the Professional Players Association (PSA ) to launch a new campaign, called “Squash Goes Gold”. Its ambition is to offer the entire global squash community the opportunity to actively participate in the future of the discipline. Starting with the short term, namely the candidacy as an additional sport for the Paris 2024 Games. According to a press release from both parties, “Squash Goes Gold” aims to shape the future of the sport today, and to make it even more innovative, inclusive and sustainable.
