Difficult times threaten for the Dutch National Olympic Committee. According to the TV channel OUR, four of its six private economic partners have decided to withdraw at the end of their contract at the end of 2016. Volkswagen, Randstad, the EY group and the insurer Zilveren Kruis will not renew their partnership. Randstad has supported the Olympic committee for 20 years, EY has been a sponsor for 18 years and Volkswagen for 15 years. According to internal sources, each of its partners contributed 5 million euros per Olympics. A financial loss which cannot be completely compensated by the bonus of 10 million euros decided last month by the Dutch Minister of Sports, Edith Schippers.
