More than 400 days before the Paris 2024 Games (D – 408 this Wednesday, June 14), American gymnastics is getting into battle order. Its federation, USA Gymnastics, announced the dates and location of the next Olympic trials. For the first time, the trials will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The competition will be held for four days, June 27-30, at the Target Center in Minneapolis. Following the event, USA Gymnastics will announce the 2024 Olympic team for artistic gymnastics, live in front of the audience. The rhythmic gymnastics and trampoline teams will be announced at the end of the national championships, held from June 22 in the same city, but at the Minneapolis Convention Center. In 2021, the Olympic gymnastics selections for the Tokyo Games took place in the same state of Minnesota, but in the twin city of Saint-Louis. The last day of the competitions was marked by a record attendance of 20.815 spectators.
