The United States and Norway make common cause

The national Nordic ski federations of the United States and Norway announced, Wednesday August 24, the signing of a cooperation agreement with a view to the Milan-Cortina 2026 Winter Games. It concerns the discipline of ski jumping. . Under the terms of the partnership, USA Nordic Sport and Norges Hopplandslaget will organize joint training camps for their national ski jumping teams. The two federations will also share their technical frameworks, their training facilities, their scientific data. As a bonus, they will collaborate in the search for new private partners. The agreement was signed for a period of four years. The combined United States/Norway team will be led by a Norwegian, Clas Brede Bråthen. At the Beijing 2022 Games, Norway won the gold medal in the large hill with Marius Lindvik (photo above).
