The North Koreans will return

PYEONGCHANG 2018

No question of hanging around on the way. The North Korean delegation present at the PyeongChang Paralympic Games announced this Wednesday, March 14, that its athletes and officials will not stay in South Korea until the end of the event. They will return to the country on Thursday, after the end of their competitions. North Korea is represented by 20 people, including just two athletes, cross-country skiers Ma Yu-chol and Kim Jong-hyon. None of them will see the outcome of the Games. On the other hand, the four officials of the national Paralympic committee, led by Kim Mu-chol, the chairman of the central committee of the Korean Federation for the Protection of Disabled Persons (FKPD), will extend their stay in PyeongChang. They will pack up next Monday, after attending the closing ceremony.
