The 3 3x2026 Basketball World Cup will be held in Warsaw. FIBA officially announced the awarding of the event to the Polish capital on Tuesday. The tournament will bring together 40 of the best men's and women's national teams from all over the world, in the heart of Warsaw city center, next to the iconic Palace of Culture and Science.
FIBA Secretary General Andreas Zagklis explained the decision at a press conference alongside Polish Basketball Federation President Grzegorz Bachanski and city representatives. "Bringing the World Cup to Warsaw for the first time underlines Poland's strong commitment to 3x3 basketball. With its proven success in organizing high-level events, Poland is a natural choice », he commented. Poland had already hosted the 3x3 Under-23 World Cup in 2023, in Lublin.
