The 2022 Women's World Cup in Poland and the Netherlands

Women's volleyball fans will have to travel. The international federation (FIVB) announces that it has awarded the organization of the 2022 World Cup to Poland and the Netherlands. The two countries had joined forces to submit a candidacy file. It was selected by the FIVB, then announced on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Polish Volleyball Federation. Last November, the FIVB awarded Russia the organization of the Men's World Cup in 2022. The two major events will therefore take place on the European continent. As a reminder, the 2018 Worlds took place in Japan for the women, in Italy and Bulgaria for the men.
