The road cycling world championships will set their scene in 2018 in the Austrian city of Innsbruck. The UCI management committee decided this during its first meeting of the year, in Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. This will be the third edition of the UCI Road World Championships organized in Austria after that of 1987 in Villach and that of 2006 in Salzburg.
