Paris is gradually establishing itself as the world capital of climbing. Meeting in a General Assembly on Saturday March 1 at the CNOSF headquarters, in the south of Paris, the International Mountain and Climbing Federation (FFME) decided to award France the organization of the world climbing championships in 2016. The event will be held, as for Euro 2008 and the 2012 World Cup, within the framework of Bercy, in a completely renovated POPB.
