The International Teqball Federation (FITEQ) is only celebrating its third anniversary this year, but it intends not to delay on its way to finding a place in the Olympic movement. The organizers of the next edition of SportAccord, scheduled for May 23 to 28, 2021 in Yekaterinburg, Russia, announce the presence of FITEQ as a gold partner, the first level of the event's marketing program. The international body created and based in Hungary was the first gold partner of SportAccord in 2017 in Bangkok, before getting involved with the organizers for the first regional edition of SportAccord, last year in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. FITEQ makes no secret of its desire to be recognized by the IOC, to claim in the medium or long term to enter the Games program as an additional sport. It has already taken a step forward by obtaining observer status last January from the council of the World Association of International Sports Federations (GAISF). She has also been recognized by the Asian (OCA) and African (ACNOA) Olympic Committee Associations.
