Nice move for the Australian Olympic Committee (AOC). It has just signed a 10-year partnership contract with the telephone operator Optus. The agreement is expected to run until 2026. According to a press release from the AOC, its amount and longevity make it one of the most important partnership contracts in the history of Australian sport. Australia plans to send a delegation of 450 athletes to the Rio Games.
