The IF has confirmed the names of the applicants: Mo'ath Alkhawaldeh (Jordan), Andreas Almgren (Sweden), Lia Apostolovski (Slovenia), Joan Chelimo (Romania), Lisanne de Witte (Netherlands), Ramil Guliyev (Turkey), Thea LaFond (Dominica), Anna Ryzhykova (Ukraine), Hassan Taftian (Iran) and Gia Trevisan (Italy) were applying. The official campaign will open on August 25. All athletes accredited for the Tokyo World Championships will be able to vote between September 8 and 20The result will be known on September 21, the last day of competition.
