The IOC proudly announced on Thursday, February 20, a partnership with the giant TCL until 2032. The Chinese company, specialized in electronics, becomes the Official Worldwide Olympic and Paralympic Partner in the category of home audiovisual equipment and household appliances. It will provide, among other things, smart screens, air conditioners, refrigerators, washing machines, audio systems, projectors and smart glasses. “TCL products will offer new experiences for fans and athletes, from screens at the Olympic and Paralympic Games to household appliances in the Olympic Village", underlines the IOC, also promising “innovative marketing campaigns” et TCL's support for artificial intelligence. Jiří Kejval, Chairman of the IOC Revenue and Commercial Partnerships Commission, welcomed the attractiveness of the Games: “TCL is a global leader in its industry and one of the fastest growing brands in the world. The TOP program continues to provide the world’s most valuable brands an unmatched marketing platform, built on the global reach and values of the Olympic Games. Today’s announcement is proof of this as we bring TCL into the TOP Partner family.” Good news since the program lost the Japanese giants at the end of 2024 Toyota, Bridgestone and Panasonic.
