Swiss Olympic innovates in medical monitoring

Paris 2024

The Swiss Olympic Committee (Swiss Olympic) is innovating. It announces the launch at the Paris 2024 Games of a new tool for monitoring those selected, the “Athlete Health File ». Ready to be used in the real conditions of a major event, after a long phase of testing and experimentation, it is based on software which centralizes and standardizes the health data and medical histories of athletes. The Swiss Olympic medical team can thus quickly have access to all the health data of each member of the delegation. In addition to the quality of monitoring, and therefore the performance of athletes, the software makes it possible to improve the functionality of the medical process. If this pilot operation is successful at the Paris 2024 Games, the system will be generalized to all Swiss performance sports.
