Steve Hooker President of the Athletes' Commission

The Australian National Olympic Committee's Athletes' Commission has a new president. Former pole vaulter Steve Hooker, Olympic gold medalist in 2008, world champion the following year, was elected by his peers for a 4-year term. He will be assisted by rower Kim Brennan, Olympic champion (2016) and double world champion (2013 and 2015) in single sculls. The new Australian Olympic Committee Athletes' Commission has the following composition:

Vice President: Kim Brennan (rowing)
