Two years and a handful of days before the Paris 2024 Games, the sporting Francophonie is getting ready for battle. At the initiative of the International Organization of the Francophonie (OIF), a seminar is dedicated to it this Thursday July 7 and Friday July 8. Two days of discussions and exchanges, at the OIF headquarters in Paris, for “ define an operational development strategy for French-speaking sports“. During the four round tables planned over the two days, it will be a question of discussing the establishment of more structured cooperation between the different actors concerned, but also of identifying avenues for mobilizing the actors of the French-speaking sports movement in the duration and continuity. The fourth round table, Friday July 8 between 14 p.m. and 16 p.m., will debate how to promote the sporting Francophonie during the three multi-sport events organized in French-speaking countries over the next four years: the Francophonie Games in Kinshasa in 2023, the Paris 2024 Games, then the Dakar Youth Olympic Games in 2026.
